Design Review Panel:
The primary role of the Design Review Panel is to provide specialist guidance to the Board on Heritage and Urban Design, including procurement, design review and best practice. The Panel combine the ‘best’ of local expertise with regional specialists in architecture, urban design, town planning, landscape architecture and development, forming a powerful resource for the URC. This is supplemented by national and international expertise where appropriate. The Chair in conjunction with the Chief Executive agrees the number of Advisers invited to each panel meeting (and the skill sets required) reflecting the items on the agenda.
Marketing and Communications Panel:
The primary role of the Marketing and Communications Panel is to provide specialist advice to the Board on marketing particularly the work of the URC and its partners and communications, both internally and externally.
Business Forum:
The primary role of the Business Forum is to provide an opportunity for the business community to help shape Gloucester Heritage URC regeneration activities, to ensure that the interests of all the main industrial and commercial sectors are represented and to help the Company achieve its objectives. The Forum brings together representatives of businesses based in the URC area and major employers in Gloucestershire.
Residents & Community Forum:
The primary role of the Residents and Community Forum is to provide an opportunity for the wider community in Gloucester to help shape URC regeneration activities, to build up local ‘ownership’ and to raise aspirations. The Forum brings together local residents with community and voluntary sector organisations, active in the URC area.
Human Resource Management:
The primary role of the Remuneration and Human Resources Committee is to support the Board in its responsibilities for issues of remuneration (including performance related pay, pension arrangements and relocation packages) and employment (including the appointment of staff, disciplinary measures and the termination of contracts).
