Metalock does not have a marketing department, and so we became an extension of Mike’s team. We developed the blueprint for the website with an iterative process led by feedback and communication from the ten individual companies involved, each with their own unique needs and requirements.
Working closely with supporting agencies in Germany and France, trips to Europe and a site launch in Thailand, made this a truly global project. The bespoke website is professionally translated into 16 different languages all built on the Umbraco CMS platform which allows each of the company's access to update microsites in their native language, whilst maintaining visual consistency across the group. The solution is hosted using a global CDN which means the site is served to the user from the closest possible location - making it quicker and more secure for the user.
The website also integrates with the company's cloud-hosted CRM and we manage the email marketing list on the same platform. This allows us to create campaigns for custom segments of the marketing database with specific geographical and language requirements.
We also manage Google Ad campaigns, monthly web management/support and reporting, brand guidelines and marketing material, domain management and protection. So whether Metalock requires an advert for a trade publication or a new Google Ad Campaign, we're right there to support Mike and his ever-increasing workload.
Since launching in 2018, the website has generated more than £4.2 million worth of new enquiries through the contact form alone and continues to develop and evolve in line with the Group business strategy.
